Weatherization

Properly weatherizing and insulating one’s home can save up to 30% on heating and cooling costs. Take advantage of the following instant savings:

• Batt insulation: up to $15 off per roll
• Spray foam insulation: up to $2 off per can
• Pipe insulation: up to $3 off per unit
• Door sweeps: up to $4 off per sweep
• Select ENERGY STAR® windows: up to $50 off per window
• Window shrink kits: up to $4 off per package

Each of the items are available at local Lowe’s and Home Depot stores. Door sweeps also available at Dollar Tree locations. Look for "Reduced Price" signage throughout the stores to know which products qualify. Discount amounts and items subject to change.

Smart Thermostats

Earn a $50 rebate and save up to 23% on heating and cooling costs.

Claim your instant rebate on an ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostat by shopping at Lowe’s, in store or online, using a coupon code you can redeem at CentralHudsonRebates.com. Your rebate will be sent via text messaging.

You can also purchase a smart thermostat from the retailer of your choice and receive a rebate by mail by filling out this form. Be sure to include a copy or photo of your receipt when sending by mail or by email. 

Heat Pump Water Heaters

Receive a $1,000 rebate and save over $600 per year in operating costs. (For a typical family of four)

As a Central Hudson customer, you can receive a $1,000 rebate on an energy-saving heat pump water heater. Any ENERGY STAR®-certified model qualifies. Learn more about how this type of water heater saves energy and search qualifying models here.

Smart Power Strips

Stop devices from using electricity when in standby mode.
