Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. will host two more in-person customer service events in its Kingston District Office on Thursday, June 6, 2024 and in its Poughkeepsie District Office on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Central Hudson began hosting open house events in 2022 to provide customers the opportunity to meet with representatives to address concerns in a face-to-face setting.
“In-person events provide our customers an alternative experience and the opportunity for meaningful interactions with our employees,” Central Hudson President Steph Raymond said. “We are happy to answer questions and address concerns in a setting that allows customers to build trust with their energy provider.”
Customers will be contacted via email with an invitation to set up an appointment. When signing up, customers will be provided a time slot to meet with a customer service representative who will walk each customer through their account in a one-on-one setting. In order to provide the highest level of customer service, customers must make an appointment to meet with a representative to discuss their account.
Central Hudson is working to increase its overall accessibility to the communities it serves. Since December 2022, the company has hosted more than 25 different events throughout the service area, including two previous events in Kingston and Newburgh this year. The Utility has also partnered with several state and local elected officials to assist hundreds of concerned customers at events held in Dutchess, Greene, Orange and Ulster counties.
The Kingston open house will be held at Central Hudson’s district office located at 2001 Ulster Ave. in Lake Katrine from 5 – 7 p.m. Poughkeepsie’s open house will be held at Central Hudson’s Poughkeepsie office, located at 284 South Ave., also from 5 – 7 p.m.
Central Hudson will continue to host additional by appointment only customer service events, as well as other informational events, throughout its service area in 2024. Announcements of future events for all customers will be made in the coming weeks and months.
