Patricia Cosgel, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the utility industry has recently joined Central Hudson's Board of Directors.

Cosgel brings more than three decades of leadership experience to Central Hudson. Prior to joining the board, Cosgel served as senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Avangrid, Inc., $42B public U.S. energy company whose assets include New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E). She also held executive and senior management positions with UIL Holdings and Northeast Utilities (now Eversource). Cosgel began her career as an analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston and Philadelphia.

Cosgel is a native of Pennsylvania and currently resides in Connecticut. She earned a bachelor of arts in economics from Dickinson College and a master of arts in economics from the University of Iowa.
